Hi everyone! I know I need to provide various passport-style pics with my AOS application, and can use the ones I got taken for my K1 interview. I no longer have the actual physical pictures that I got printed (the ones that are on proper photographic paper), but I have the digital version. Can I just print this on normal paper?

Hi everyone! Quick question as I'm filling out form I-765: In part 2, question 18a/18b, it says, "List all countries where you are currently a citizen or national." I put New Zealand in the first box since I was born there etc. But I also have an expired British passport that I got when I was a baby, since my Mum was born in Scotland. Should I also put the United Kingdom as a place that I am a citizen/national?

Hi everyone! I got married a few days ago and have a question about changing my surname. My husband technically has two last names but only uses both on legal/official things. If I take his last name, do I also need to take both, or can I just take the first (main) one?

'Certified' copy of birth certificate for I-485 |

Hi all! I've been looking into putting together my AOS package for when I'll be filing in about a month. I've seen that they say ideally to attach a certified copy of a birth certificate. Is this a necessity? Or does it not matter as long as the copy includes all the things they need to see? I'm just a bit concerned that it'll take too long to get my birth certificate certified if I have to somehow do it in New Zealand when I have the certificate with me and need it done within 2-3 weeks. I just don't want an RFE! Also does the marriage certificate need to be certified too? I'm not sure how I'd have time to do that so close to the 90-day mark. Kind regards, Rosalea

My fiance came here with a Tourist Visa valid for 10 years, with each stay validity of 6 months. My fiance and I got married after 3 mos of her staying here in the U.S. I now have applied for U.S. Citizenship with interview scheduled in the next 6 mos. Since her stay will lapsed after 6 months. She is going back to Phils. for another 6 months before returning here again. By the time she is back here , I can now petition her and file the I-130. Do you see any potential issues with the narrative above?
